PAUL

Paul is a family-man who is never without a quick joke and a smile. His can-do attitude pushes him to always look for the next big thing and his positive personality ensures every stumbling block is seen as a learning opportunity. 

Throughout his life Paul has worked for different people in different industries. He was always considered a valuable asset in each job and constantly told that he ‘Could do it himself!’ and so that is exactly what he did! 

In 2009, Paul started up his own business called Austrail Civil. He encountered some huge highs and also some lows, but being the person he is, he strived for more and kept moving forward. 

Fast forward to 2022 and Paul is the proud Director of 22Vision, a flourishing guardrail business operating out of South Brisbane. Other current ventures include 22Traders and 22MarketPlace, both of which are up-and-coming online sales sites, soon to be a go-to place for all your various needs and wants.

DAVID

Very much like his father, David likes to see an opportunity in everything. An easy-going, open-minded and likable guy, David has a gift for seeing treasure where others may see trash. 

Starting small, David began by researching different collectibles, buying them and selling them for a small profit. As time progressed he realised he had a knack for spotting bargains and turning a profit and soon the idea of 22Traders came into existence. 

With the support of his wife and two children, David and his dad now work together to turn 22Traders into a thriving online sales business.

FROM IDEA TO REALITY 

In 2015, Paul found himself with a surplus of archery equipment and so the idea of selling the products online was born. His first attempt to get the online store up and running was initiated, but as an established business owner with a family Paul found it difficult to manage and maintain the online store. It was launched and did sell some stock but more time and energy was needed to make it successful.

Insert David! With his passion for researching, buying and selling, David brought new ideas to help move the stock. Paul and David spent many hours pouring over ideas and concepts, then they took a chance; David left his current job, Paul employed him, and a new website was created – 22Traders became a reality. 

Now a family business with a father & son team, their vision is to provide an honest, reliable and trustworthy platform to buy quality items.
